Unique Way to Give Money as a Gift

Money Trees Make Great Shower (baby, Bridal, Wedding) Gifts

This gift is fantastic for bridal showers, baby showers, even bachelor parties. Basically it is great for any life changing celebration. Great gift, quick and easy, and inexpensive but is sure to be the life of the party. Who could ask for more?

What you will need:

Money tree (which can be bought at most tree nurseries) if not any small tree will do.

Donations from the party guests put together in different dollar denominations.

Thread or yarn.

Start by rolling the bills at the center so that it makes a bow tie shape. Do this with all the money collected from your guests. The last one we made had over $200 on it in all different denominations.

Next cut the yarn, thread, or string into long enough pieces to be able to tie the center of the bills onto the tree.

This step is the most fun. Place the money all over the tree; leaves, stems, and trunk. Tie the money down with the yarn. You can even make designs with the money. If you run out of room on the tree you can place bills into the soil as if they dropped off the tree and landed on the ground.

Tips and Tricks to make this project a success:

Ask the guests that were invited if they want to donate $20 to make a gift. This will help to increase the money that you receive. Make a card and have everyone sign the card that gave you money. You could go with a theme like, 'Money Really Does Grow on Trees...' etc

Word of Warning:

This gift will definitely be a great attraction. Everyone who has gotten this gift has spoken about how valuable it was to them. Once you give this gift be sure to expect to have to make more for the next party.
