Lighted decor is more popular than ever, especially when decorating a little girl's bedroom. Not only does it provide decorative appeal, but it also provides lighting that gently illuminates the room. I have been using various forms of lighted decor to enhance my little girl's bedroom, and she absolutely loves them all. Try these eye-catching ways to decorate a little girl's bedroom with light, and add something unique to her private space for play, relaxation and refuge. She will love it!
Decorate your Little Girl's Room with a Lighted Tree
Lighted trees are not just for Christmas and other winter holidays. Now you can find lighted trees that can be used to decorate the home anytime of the year. I bought one to decorate my little girl's bedroom, and she loves it. The leafless branches have floral lights on the tips, and they create an ambient glow throughout the bedroom. She has used it as a nightlight, but the light also looks great during the day. I placed her lighted tree in an empty corner, and I attached it to a timer to help save energy.
Create a Room Filled with Lighted Stars and Constellations
Astronomy is not just for boys. My daughter loves studying stars, planets and other parts of the solar system. When looking for unique ways to decorate a little girl's bedroom with light, buy a light that projects constellations and planets on the walls and ceiling. It will beautifully decorate your little girl's bedroom after the sun goes down. Even if the bedroom is not decorated in a celestial theme, this is a unique way to decorate with light.
Decorate with Icicle Lights and Blooming Faux Vines
I also used light to decorate my little girl's room in our former home. I bought a string of white icicle lights and faux blooming wisteria vines in pretty shades of purple. I used small white zip ties to attach the faux wisteria vines to the icicle lights, and I strung them along the wall next to the ceiling. This was a beautiful way to decorate my little girl's bedroom with light. It looked great when plugged in during the day and even more lovely at night. This homemade method to light her bedroom was her favorite part of the decorating scheme. We chose to decorate the rest of the room in a garden theme, and it was absolutely gorgeous.
When looking to decorate a little girl's bedroom with light, shop for unique lamps that include a nightlight. Also, look for unique strings of lights that can be used to decorate a faux tree, around a window or along the ceiling of the bedroom. Multiple sources of light can be used to embellish your little girl's bedroom in unique ways too.
