Unique Ways to Say I Love You This Valentine's Day

There are literally hundreds of different ways to show someone you love them but this Valentine's day tell your lover that you love them with words. Here are just a few ways to do that without falling back on stale, overly used methods.

1. Use weed and grass killer to inscribe the words I love you into your lover's lawn. (be prepared to ask for forgiveness later.)

2. Give her 8 roses, each with a letter on them so they spell out I Love You.

3. Spell out I Love You with chocolate chips on a pancake.

4. Spell I Love You with rose petals on your bed.

5. Use whipped cream in the can to write I Love You on a piece of his/her favorite pie.

6. For doctors, carve I Love You into an apple and put it on his or her desk.

7. Pay someone to deliver a singing telegram to your significant other with the only lyrics being "(Your name) Loves (Their name).

8. Make a scrolling marquee on her screensaver that says I love you.

9. Buy, rent or borrow a parrot and teach it to say I love you.

10. Say it in a foreign language.

Arabic= ohibouk
Dutch= ik hou van jou

11. Send him, or her, a text message on the hour every hour for the whole twenty four hours of Valentine's Day that simply says I love you.

12. Get a tattoo (or a fake tattoo) that says I love so-and-so but be sure to put their name in place of so-and-so.

13. Leave a note with GIANT letters that say I love you under her windshield wiper at work.

14. Have a T-shirt custom made to say, I love Karen or whatever their name is.

16. Save up all your money for one year, rent space on a billboard that says, I love so-and-so (again use their name in place of so-and-so) and drive them by the billboard. This method can cost you anywhere from $700 to $3,000 for one month. Consider renting the space for one week instead.

17. Take your lover spelunking and when you are deep in the caverns yell out I love you just to hear it echo around you.

18. Plan a picnic breakfast on the beach at sunrise. Sneak off to your picnic spot and write I love you in the sand before taking your lover there.

19. Make a half a million (or some other large number) of notes that say I love you and then stash them everywhere. Put them in jacket pockets, pants pockets, ice cubes, the silverware drawer, hanging in the shower, their shoes, on their seat in the car, the dog's mouth, in their favorite coffee cup etc. Get creative and let them know how much you love them by how many times they find the notes.

20. Last but not least, just say it. Whisper it in their ear, scream it to the mountain tops, tell it to a stranger in front of them, whatever, just tell them.
