"There's a Place for Us" by Carrie Underwood

This country/pop wedding song can be a beautiful choice for a first dance. The song, which is from the Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie soundtrack, can be an especially good option for a fairytale or princess themed wedding. Carrie Underwood sings, "It's written in the stars that shine above/ A place where you and I belong/ Where faith and love will keep us strong." This slow country/pop song is not very popular yet, making it a very unique wedding dance song choice.

"Count on Me" by Bruno Mars

I hadn't thought of using a wedding song from the year a couple chooses to get married. I can't even remember what was popular when I got married in 2002.
