United States Soccer Faces Huge Game Against Brazil in FIFA Confederations Cup

Soccer hasn't played this huge of a card in the United States since perhaps the U.S. women won the Olympic gold. But on Sunday, the United States men's soccer team gets it's chance to shine pre-World Cup in the FIFA Confederations Cup Soccer Title match in South Africa.

The U.S. soccer team shocked top ranked Spain earlier this week to advance to the finale. Team USA needed a miracle even to get out of their individual group. But once they did, they have certainly made the most of it. So what is the game time for the U.S. soccer match against Brazil? Game time at 1pm CST/2pm EST. It will be carried live on ESPN for the title in the FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa. Brazil defeated the hosts 1-0 to advance to this title game,

What to watch for? United States team member Clint Dempsey has come on strong including the icing on the cake goal in the 2-0 win over Spain. Team USA soccer is still a heavy underdog and could possibly lose to Brazil and come out with heads held high for a great run.

This will only help to make the United States men's soccer squad a little more of a favorite in the upcoming World Cup. The United States has not faired well in international soccer before this tournament. The United States men's soccer team though might just be coming of age.
