The Master of Arts Liberal Studies program is a 33 credit hour program that is based on the study of humanities, social sciences and natural studies that gives the student an in-depth knowledge of world culture and human relations. The program is designed for the non-traditional student in a flexible study format that caters to the adult learner.
Master of Arts Liberal Studies Program - Degree Options
The Master of Arts Liberal Studies Program is a comprehensive liberal arts program that is delivered online or through self-paced independent studies. The program has an extensive choice of courses and interesting subjects in human culture, social relationships and interdisciplinary studies that make up this fascinating online program. The student has the choice of choosing a degree option of Administrative Leadership, Health & Human Services, Museum Studies and Integrated Studies. All degree options are outlined with a structured degree plan and could be completed within a two-year time frame.
Master of Arts Liberal Studies Program - Admissions Requirements
The admission requirement for the prospective student includes, a 3.0 GPA from the last 60 hours of undergraduate work and transcripts from all previous college work. The Master of Arts Liberal Studies Program does not require a GRE or GMAT score however the program does accept scores as part of the admission process. The Master of Arts Liberal Studies Program has a conditional admission status option in place and is dependent on individual admission from a program advisor. The Master of Arts application is available for print online or you can enroll directly through the University of Oklahoma's online application process.
Master of Arts Liberal Studies Program - Tuition/Fees
The tuition for Oklahoma residents is $204 per semester hour and for non-residents the tuition fee is $544 per semester hour. Financial aid is available for liberal arts studies students as well as a Master of Arts Start Up Scholarships opportunity. The Master of Arts scholarships are awarded to eligible students through the CLS Scholarship Foundation.
