What Have We Missed?
The song we do not sing
What have we missed
While being busy with other things
There is a road left untraveled
It's beauties never explored
Those things that we have missed
Many hold treasures to be adored
There is a knock that goes unanswered
The call that is never received
What all do you suppose we've missed
While being busy with other things?
To each tale there is a twist
Each chapter it has its end
There are secrets we will never discover
And people we will never befriend
Because we do not read the book
Is its meaning somehow less true?
Because we do not sing the song
It its melody less beautiful too?
Is the world just too big for us
To somehow find the time
To embrace the unknown treasures
That we have been too busy to find...
