• Prose & Poetry: A Haiku
A tradional haiku generally consisted of 5 syllables in the first sentence, 7 in the middle, and 5 in the last. Three little lines (not rhymed) would convey a story, thought, or feeling. In modern day English, not always are these word counts followed.
