The idea of free movies, music or videos might sound good in theory but it´s not always OK. There are plenty of risks associated with free sites and you should understand the problems with them if you want to use them to download Zune movies and music.
1. Exposure to Harmful Software
These sites often times have problems with spyware, adware, Trojans and other viruses that you can download together with your movies and music. And many times you can´t do anything about it. The end result would be that your computer works slower and you could lose some data.
And sometimes, it can even happen that the spyware and adware will reveal some of your information, like passwords or surf history. Some people have real problems even detecting that they have malware on their computer.
2. Download Speeds
Because they have less resources, free sites tend to be much slower. You need a lot of bandwidth to send files to so many Zune owners that want to download media files, and it costs money. Often times these free sites have to limit the speed of their downloads to manage to stay up. This makes the download much slower so the free unlimited Zune downloads claim isn´t true.
3. Incomplete or Corrupted Downloads
What if you use one hour to download a movie from a Zune and when you´re almost at the end you get an error and the files is corrupted or incomplete. This can be very disappointing if all you want to do is watch the latest movie. And even a song can be corrupted this way and you would need to start over again.
You risk these things if you use free download sites to get your videos, music or movies. They might be free in theory, but if you think about it you´ll see that it´s not so great.
