Unravelled

but persistently we tried

to slowly unveil ourselves

and reveal what was inside

Love moved us ahead

then fear set us back

Once joined by what we shared,

we parted due to what we lacked

As fate would have it though,

to a better place we traveled

Somehow amidst our strife,

we both became unravelled

Now I see you for you,

and you see me for me

We're both much better off

than we used to be

Apart but never separate

Synchronized though not together

Now that we see one another clearly,
