Cold above the timberline these days
The snow falls quietly in the darkness
Lone Wolf looking out into the distance
Across the frozen, darkened, jagged landscape
Food is scarce up here, but Lone Wolf cares not
Solitude, quiet, and darkness are all that matter
Watching the landscape set before him
With frozen, darkened, and jagged thoughts
The yellow, jaundiced eye of the Moon stares at him
High above in its sheltered perch
Shaking his nerves and feelings
Awakening frozen, darkened, and jagged memories
Baying his mournful song into the night
Lone Wolf remembers and tries to forget
The nightmares of choices chasing him
Across the frozen, darkened, jagged ruins of his mind
