Untitled Symphony No.6

I didn't know you were am musician
The way you played me the other night...ooooooweeeee
You skills rival those of history's greatest players and composers
The precision, the accuracy, the skill
You set the stage for your recital, the show starring you
You should give courses on warm-up techniques
As our tongues danced up and down the minor and major scales
I learned notes and keys that have never been played before
As you plucked my strings, tuned and calibrated me
I hit notes with ride ranges and eventually changed clefs
You played every key from foot to head
Hit syncopated rhythms causing shortness of breath
You started off slow, legato, melodic
Focused, thorough, like an elaborate symphony
Climbing intervals into a grand crescendo
Ending in a climax that struck dissonant chords
You beat this drum like you never have before
From whole notes to half, staccato to vibrato
The score you composed as you blew, fingered, beat and played
Gets the Academy Award nomination if you ask me
Simply replaying the beautiful symphony in my mind
Causes the instrument to get warm and vibrate
Without even being picked up
Oh, if I'd only known you were a skilled musician
I would have begged to be played
Given you an avenue to of musical expression
Instead of sitting on a shelf dusty, unheard sounds unappreciated
You were the musician this orchestra has been in need of
Someone who knows every part, comprehends how they harmonize together
Is able to direct every section, play solo and keep perfect time
Man the way you played me blows my mind
The greatest musician you are, of all time
