David Banner- The Comeback: While having a past role in movies such as Black Snake Moan, David Banner plans to star in the new Ice Cube/ Cubevision movie titled "The Comeback." The movie is about a girl (Ice Cube's niece in the movie) that leads her Pop Warner football team to a tournament. The movie is set to be directed by Limp Bizkit's front man, Fred Durst. This will be the second film for Durst since he directed "The Education of Charlie Blank". The movie is supposed to be a fun comedy for kids and adults of all ages.
Common- Street Kings: While the movie was officially titled "The Night Watchman", the production company of Fox Searchlight changed the title at the last minute. In the highly anticipated flick "Street Kings", Rapper Common plays Coates, a man known for dealing the purest heroin... Common is an undercover cop from Los Angeles that Keanu Reeves has to engage with. In this movie star actor Keanu Reeves plays a LAPD Detective searching for the killers of his former partner. He teams up with another detective in a joint effort to track the killers all over Los Angeles. Rapper The Game also makes an appearance thru out this wild police thriller.
Ludacris- Untitled: DTP Label head, Ludacris, stars in a new movie that is set seven years ahead in the future. In the flick prisoners are implanted with brain microchips to provide for the ultimate game (meaning they become part of a video game.). Players twist and turn the prisoners to do as they please in order to make it to the next level. In order for the prisoners to be set free, 30 games must be won consistently. Ludacris is associated with a protest group called Humanz, they protest the negative ways the prisoners are being used and abused.

I love your article. I have loved David Banner as an actor ever since I saw him in Black Snake Moan, and he was ver good in This Christmas as well. Fifty is my boy even though he is hated on quiete a bit, I thought luda's perfomrance in Hustle in Flo was pretty good too. I'm interested in catching these movies when they come out and doing a review on them. People kill me with the whole "rappers can't be actors". This is not true.
