Upcoming Release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2: With Trailer

Warner Bros. is just months away from releasing the last movie in the eight-movie Harry Potter series. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 is due out in theaters on July 15, 2011. For many, it is the movie event of a lifetime. It is the culmination of years of devoted movie going. It is also the end of one of the greatest (if greatness is to be measured by popularity) stories ever told. There will certainly be differences between the movie and the book. Those differences will be the last new genuine Harry Potter experience for fans.

The first official trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 has been released. You can watch it here from the Warner Bros. website.

The trailer shows some scenes that are recognizable from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book. Other scenes are easily placed in the book's context. It is enough to garner some excitement among fans. Harry Potter and the Deathly part 1 ended on a sour note for those who are not familiar with how the story ends. It was a disappointing cliffhanger, to say the least. Seeing the trailer is proof to those disappointed masses that the entire series will not end this way. There will be closure for the "Boy Who Lived" and "He Who Must Not Be Named."

If you have not seen the first seven Harry Potter films, now is the time to do it. In fact, if you have gone this far without clicking the link for the trailer, skip it for now. Watch the other seven movies and then get ready for the eighth and final movie. There is no way to appreciate the scope of Harry Potter without first seeing just how many years and how much work the cast and crew have put into these movies. If you have seen them, enjoy the trailer.
