Upcoming Taste Fest Ensures Community Programs Can Continue in Ferndale

The continued support of the community allows several of Ferndale's popular organizations to continue their services each year, and this year is no different. While many of us are gearing up to attend the Blues Festival, several are also preparing for the Taste Fest in March. The "Taste of Ferndale" fundraiser is continuing this year in hopes of raising money to contribute to other community endeavors.

The Ferndale Community Foundation is an organization that nurtures and encourages progress in the city by providing it with much-needed funding to continue its operations each year. This fundraiser provides the city with the means to continue this practice. In 2009, the fundraiser was also held at the Nove Restaurant in Ferndale and hosts several local restaurants and their fabulous cuisines. One of the sponsors of the previous event was The Blue Care Network. This year's fundraiser is also scheduled to be held at Nove Restaurant and organizers are looking for sponsors, volunteers and supporters.
