Finally - just in - the new "Bachelorette" has been announced on ABC. "The Bachelorette" will be Ali Fedotowsky. The rumors all along were true. Like this was such a shock Ali would be the new "Bachelorette" announced from all the publicity.

The new "Bachelorette" was officially announced on ABC after the "Final Rose Ceremony" when Jake chose Vienna to be his wife.

Ali told Chris Harrison jokingly, "I want 50 guys instead of 25!"

Chris teased her about being greedy. Ali added she wants someone "funny and smart." Ali also looks forward to the end of "The Bachelorette" when she hopefully finds the perfect man for her. Ali has a long ways to go in getting to the end of "The Bachelorette." Just imagine the process if she were to have 50 contestants to choose from!

Yes, all the waiting is over. How will Ali fair on "The Bachelorette" next season? She will begin filming the new "Bachelorette" series this March and the show will first air in early summer.

Each season "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" grow an ever-increasing drama of scandal. What could possibly occur on this upcoming season of the new "Bachelorette"?

ABC has been on a mission of placing former or rejected contestants from prior "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" shows to be the next star of future shows. Is it because we're already familiar with the former contestants and we want to ensure they find happiness?

Ali's a sweet girl and seems genuine-hearted. She must be glad Jake didn't choose her because she was the one who whispered in a rose ceremony regarding Jake giving Vienna a rose, "If she's what Jake wants, then I'm not what he wants." See, it all happened for a reason, Ali. Now you have your opportunity being the new "Bachelorette" for 2010.

Let's hope Ali won't be called back to her job in the middle of being the new "Bachelorette" in 2010!
