Update on Gary Coleman: Lawyer Talks About Coleman Will
Update on Gary Coleman: Gary and Shannon Divorced, No Will
The divorce document lists a John and Jane Doe as the parties involved, but Shannon Price's name is on the back of the document, as well as information stating Shannon was sufficiently notified. So unless Gary and Shannon tied the knot again since Aug. 2008, the Colemans were divorced.
Update on Gary Coleman: Gary's Former Lawyer Randy Kester Weighs In
Gary's former lawyer, Randy Kester, doubts that Shannon and Gary got remarried after their divorce back then. "Gary shared a lot of things with me. That's probably something he would have told me," Kester said.
Randy Kester and his former client Gary Coleman had talked as recently as four or five weeks prior to Coleman's death about the need to make out a will. But Randy says that he and the "Diff'rent Strokes" star never got around to doing it.
Update on Gary Coleman: No Wife, No Will, No "Whacha talkin' 'bout?"
Gary didn't give his "Diff'rent Strokes" line to a responding Santaquin police officer when the officer responded on Wed., May 26 to Shannon's 911 distress call. Instead, Gary Coleman told the officer that he couldn't remember what happened to him, but Gary was coherent.
The officer, according to the police report, arrived to a conscious Gary Coleman. Gary was bleeding from the back of his head, as someone might who had fallen or been hit. And Gary was bubbling blood from his mouth as well, so the officer was really wanting to know if it was a domestic violence issue, basically.
Update on Gary Coleman: Domestic Violence Issues of Past Still an 'Issue'?
Gary Coleman and Shannon Price had a domestic violence situation occur in April of 2009 on Coleman's 42nd birthday. In Feb. 2010, the criminal complaint was brought before a judge and Coleman agreed to a lesser charge, a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge, actually.
Gary escaped the domestic violence charge, which would have been a whole lot worse, but was still sentenced to 31 1/2 days in jail (Charlie Sheen is getting less time for his attack on Brooke Mueller). But Gary didn't have to do time if he attended a domestic violence course and coughed up $595 in a fine fee.
Shannon Price Getting Even?
Did Shannon see Gary's ability to wiggle out of that domestic altercation as a final straw? Their domestic event occured in April of '09, but we now know that they were already divorced in Aug. '08, insinuating they still were 'together' after divorcing.
But the domestic violence case of April 2009 wasn't actually heard until Feb. 2010. Did Shannon hear the judge slap Gary on the wrist, denying her justice, and go off her rocker on May 26 when Gary tried it again?
Update on Gary Coleman: Divorced, Damaged, Dead
Gary Coleman and Shannon Price were divorced, yet Shannon Price was with him when he met with the 'fall' that would lead to an eventual 'pulling the plug' decision on her part. A decision it looks like now she wasn't legally able to make.
And shannon and Gary had a very well known domestic violence history that begs the question: What was Shannon and Gary doing together after their divorce and many domestic rows anyway? And why did Shannon tell the hospital staff that she was Gary's wife, instead of 'ex-wife'? An investigation has begun.

Post a CommentAnna Gray has alot of nerve thinking she deserves anything. He got rid of her along time ago. Where has she been for the last 4 years? Not taking care of Gary that is for sure. Shannon Price may not be acting the way people expect but she is young and she has been there for Gary when he was sick and acting out. No one else was. Keep that in mind.
The best part of this article is the ending, "An investigation has begun." Why? What if Coleman fell after being hit in the heat with a blunt object? Why did Price tell dispatcher she had blood on her if she was so afraid to get near him? Too many quesions that need answers.
It's always like this when a celebrity dies.
This is a complicated situation. I hope everything gets cleared up soon. Nice article.
