Update on Smashbox Lash Revival Treatment and Conditioner
How Well Does Lash Revival Work in 8 Weeks?
First, although the instructions only talk about your upper lashes, I've been using it on the lower lashes as well, and that's where the improvement is the most obvious. My lower lashes, sadly, were a little on the sparse and short side. While they're not super-model perfect (but are those real?), they are noticeably thicker and longer. I can actually get mascara on them.
Second, the upper lashes are also clearly longer and thicker. I notice this the most in two cases: one, when I'm wearing my reading glasses, I frequently get mascara on them; and two, if I use an eyelash curler on them, the lashes do not break. At all.
Smashbox has now fully released the Lash Revival product. You can get it on their website, www.smashbox.com , and also at www.sephora.com, for $34. That might sound like a lot, but in comparison to other lash enhancing products, which range from about $50 to over $700, it's quite reasonable for an eyelash treatment that actually does something.
The other thing that you can do with Lash Revival from Smashbox is apply it to your eyebrows, if those brows are sparse. Lash Revival works on brow hair, too, causing more of it to grow, and to grow in more lushly and thickly. The conditioner will make your eyebrows softer, if you need that.
One more word about the price: that $34 tube of eyelash treatment and conditioner has lasted since mid-June, and I've used it every night, and it's not gone yet. So you can assume it's less than $17 a month, for fuller, softer, longer eyelashes that are less likely to break. It's easier to apply mascara the morning after the nightly treatment, and it stays on better with less flaking, regardless of the brand (and to those who think I'm a high-end beauty snob, let me say that my all-time favorite mascara is Maybelline Great Lash. It's even better than their Stiletto mascara, which flakes horribly, in my opinion!).
So if you're looking for a good product to increase your lash volume and length, and don't want to see a doctor and pay for a prescription treatment, try Lash Revival from Smashbox. Remember, if you buy it at Sephora, you can even return it for a refund if it doesn't do what you expect it to!
