Bischoff posted the following on his facebook "By the way...don't know what hit starved loser started the 'TNA is Considering Eliminating the X-Division" rumor, but its news to me! People need to realize that Dirt Sties survive off web hits and they make sh*t up to get them."
Bischoff seems upset that this rumor was started. By choosing to respond he just helped that hit starved loser get even more web hits. Every wrestling site that caught word of this rumor will most likely be posting an update to let all their readers it was not true. Some sites posted two separate updates. One update on what Bischoff wrote and a second update on what Carter wrote.
Carter wrote the following on her twitter "Not sure where you've heard the X-Division is going away but it's not true at all. I'm working to beef it up with both familiar & new faces."
I can honestly say the rumor had me fooled. Based on the direction the X-Division was going I actually thought TNA was eliminating it. The Championship was changing hands so many times, I thought TNA had no idea what direction to take the X-Division in. Did they want Lethal as Champion? No, they wanted Robbie E. Wait they actually wanted Lethal to be Champion. The recent Championship changes in the X-Division must have sparked someone to start this rumor.
In this case I don't think the rumor was a bad thing. The rumor got TNA management to put its attention back on the X-Division. Now that the TNA fans have the attention of TNA management lets hope what Carter said about bringing in familiar talent is true. I would like to see Daniels and Williams back in the X-Division. Hopefully, these two along with the help of others can bring the X-Division back to what it once was.

So it seems as if they went on with their plans anyway.
TNA needs to build on this and start featuring the X-Division again. This is their chance.
