Update: World Wrestling Entertainment Being Sued by Fan

Basham Speaks Out

Spy Radio
A few days ago I wrote an article titled "World Wrestling Entertainment Being Sued by Fan". In the article a lot of questions went unanswered. Now some of those questions can be answered because Basham has choose to tell his side of the story. After watching and reading the news report by wave3.com, I learned that Basham was standing on a chair during the event. When HHH and The Rock took the fight to the crowd a woman was shoved on top off Basham causing him to fall in between two chairs. While Basham was trapped the woman fell on top of him crushing his right knee.

Throughout the years his medical bills started to pile up. According to the article "they had no plans to sue until WWE refused to pay for anything, including the boy's ride in the ambulance to the hospital".

In my original article I thought this case would be settled out of court. After hearing Basham's side of the story my opinion on this matter has changed. I no longer think this case will be settled out of court because Basham was standing on a chair. Basham's injury was unfortunate but he made the decision to stand on a chair. I don't see how WWE would give Basham any money, for doing something that could have been avoided if he was sitting down.

Side Note: I do think it was messed up for Basham to have to pay for his ambulance ride.

Great report - it is amazing how people fail to accept responsibility for their actions.

I think WWE is going to win this lawsuit. Basham shouldn't of been standing on the chair.
