My Picks
1. Wade Barrett - After being banished from The Nexus by CM Punk. Barrett reemerged on SmackDown where he formed The Corre with Ezekiel Jackson and former Nexus members Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater. During his time with The Corre, Barrett captured the Intercontinental Championship, while Gabriel and Slater captured the WWE Tag Team Championships on more than one occasion. Now that Barrett is on his own he can work towards capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. Barrett will need some help from lady luck if he plans on capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. When Barrett came to SmackDown he did not have much competition in the heel department, but the WWE Draft shook things up. The Draft brought Mark Henry and Sheamus to SmackDown. Not to mention the current World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. With six months to go Barrett needs to win SmackDown's Money In The Bank Ladder Match to put himself in the running for the World Heavyweight Championship.
2. "The Chosen One" Drew McIntyre - McIntyre guaranteed that he would win the World Heavyweight Championship this year; However, he was drafted to Raw during the WWE Draft. Since moving to Raw McIntyre has been competing on Superstars, where he dropped his nickname of "The Chosen One" and renamed himself "The Great American Nightmare". "The Great American Nightmare" still has six months to make his guarantee come true. The fastest way for him to reach the top is to win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match; However, McIntyre was not chosen to compete in the Ladder Match. If he wants to make his guarantee come true he will have to do it on his own.
3. John Morrison - Morrison is currently sidelined with an injury. In June, he underwent surgery for a pinched nerve in his neck. Before being sidelined Morrison competed for the WWE Championship at Over The Limit in a Triple Threat Cage Match against The Miz and John Cena. If Morrison wants to keep competing for the WWE Championship he will have to make a quick recovery or risk losing his spot to another Superstar.
4. Alberto Del Rio - Del Rio has made a huge impact during the first six months of 2011. Del Rio was the first Superstar ever to win the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match. Winning the match guaranteed Del Rio a World Heavyweight Championship Match against Edge at Wrestle Mania XXVII; However, Del Rio was unable to fulfill his 'DESTINY' when he was defeated by Edge. Del Rio had another opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC); However, he failed to defeat Christian. TLC was Del Rio's last chance to capture the World Heavyweight Championship as he was drafted to Raw during the WWE Draft. With six months to go Del Rio must work his way back up the Championship ladder if he wants to fulfill his 'DESTINY' of becoming WWE Champion. The fastest way for Del Rio to do that is to win the Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
5. Dolph Ziggler - Half way through 2011, Ziggler may be having the best year. He captured the World Heavyweight Championship, even if it was only for a few minutes. Ziggler never got his rematch as he was fired from SmackDown. Ziggler reemerged on Raw where he captured the United States Championship. With six months to go we will see if Ziggler can remain Champion for the rest of the year.
6. Alex Riley - Riley rolled into 2011 as The Miz's apprentice. John Cena grew tired of Riley and challenged him to a match. If Riley lost the match he would be fired as The Miz's apprentice. The Miz had confidence in his apprentice and accepted the match on his behalf. Unfortunately, Riley lost the match and was fired. Riley did not stay away for very long as The Miz rehired Riley as his VP of Corporate Communications. A few months later The Miz continued to blame Riley for all his problems. Riley became fed up with The Miz and beat him down. This led to a match between the two at Capitol Punishment. Riley proved that he does not need to be The Miz's lackey when he defeated him at Capitol Punishment. Riley has another great opportunity on the horizon. He will be competing in the Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match. If Riley is able to win the match and cash in the Briefcase successfully, he could be the Superstar who has the biggest break out in 2011.
7. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes - Rhodes has not done much this year. He had the oppurtunity to become one of the top heels on SmackDown; However, he was pushed aside by Mark Henry and Sheamus who were drafted to SmackDown during the WWE Draft. Since than Rhodes has teamed up with his former tag team partner Ted DiBiase. If DiBiase and Rhodes can work together it may only be a matter of time before they capture the WWE Tag Team Championships. Rhodes will get the opportunity to win a Championship without DiBiase. Rhodes will be competing in SmackDown's Money In The Bank Ladder Match. If Rhodes is able to win the match he should have no problem cashing in the Briefcase successfully with DiBiase at his side.
8. Ted DiBiase - DiBiase was drafted to SmackDown during the WWE Draft. Since moving to SmackDown, DiBiase has teamed up with his former tag team partner Cody Rhodes. If Rhodes and DiBiase can work together it may only be a matter of time before they capture the WWE Tag Team Championships.
9. Kofi Kingston - Kingston started the year off strong by capturing the Intercontinental Championship on January 7th. Kingston remained Champion until the end of March when he was defeated by Wade Barrett. Kingston did not stay out of the Championship picture for long. On May 1st, at Extreme Rules he defeated Sheamus to win the United States Championship. Kingston only remained Champion for a short period of time before losing to Dolph Ziggler at Capitol Punishment. Kingston has already been announced for the Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match. With six months to go this gives Kingston a great shot at capturing the WWE Championship. All he needs to do is win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and cash in the Briefcase successfully.
10. Ezekiel Jackson - Jackson has had a break out year thus far. He was the muscle for The Corre as the group captured the Intercontiental Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championships; However, those Champions went to the other members of the group causing Jackson to break away from the group. Since breaking away from the group he defeated Wade Barrett to win his first Intercontinental Championship. Jackson must continue to prove his dominance by remaining Champion for the rest of the year.
11. Tamina - Tamina was drafted to SmackDown where she turned heel. Turning heel could end up being a good thing for Tamina. Since the current Divas Champion is Kelly Kelly (a face). She will need heels to challenge for her Championship. If Tamina steps up to challenge Kelly Kelly she will be worthy of the number eleven spot.

Post a CommentI pick you to bet on anything you say my friend.
Nice work.
Your picks are the most trustworthy that I know of my friend.
Most excellent again my good friend. You're the best at these.
You do so well in explaining this my friend. No wonder you featured this article.
I saw it said updated....*Does a happy dance* Ted and Cody are still on the list! :) As for your comment, I love Sega. I wish ours still worked. :( I've played WWF Raw, WWF Wrestlemania, and WWF In Your House on it. I still haven't played the board games but I do have two of them packed away (played an old school trivia before though. If you got one right you had to act out the wrestler on the card and others would have to guess it). I still haven't gotten any of the other games. The Power 25 Game is pretty easy. Yeah, check the trading card sections in stores (like Target). Some are games while others are just to collect. I just like to collect the cards. :)
Response to your comment: I have not tried all of them, no. The video games I usually play are on the Sega lol. The new WWE video games seem a little complicated to me for some reason. I thought about buying the plug and play games, and I would love to have WWE UNO cards. I got the Power 25 board game on clearance before KB Toys closed up, and I've played it once or twice. It's pretty easy if I remember it correctly. It seems like it was made for kids. But it was on clearance and I couldn't resist haha. I have never played any of the trading card games, but I collect the trading cards for fun. :) I do have the board games but nobody has played them with me yet lol.
I love that Cody and Ted are on this list. I personally think they both have the potential to go far, and that's what I would love to see. They're the future. :) And yeah, I have been with Tracfone for years and I like using them. I love that they'll transfer my current number to the LG 500g when I get it.
Excellent picks, thanks for the info (:
