I know everyone always makes the typical New Year's resolutions like quit smoking, lose weight and get healthy, exercise and recycling. I agree those are wonderful and agreeably I will work on those items myself. Personally, I don't usually make New Year's resolutions however; I think there are a few things I would like to try to work on. This year I have decided on three main New Year's resolutions for me personally.
Update my wardrobe.
My personal goal on this resolution is to replace older clothes and shoes that are worn out or that don't fit well with better fitting new items. I plan to hit the clearance racks and mega sales at the end of the seasons to get the best deals and extend my clothing budget.
Update my home
My second goal is to upgrade items in my home as well. Now this doesn't necessarily mean I want to replace everything. I am way too frugal for that, but I do believe that some things can be refurbished, resurfaced or reengineered to make them feel and look more modern and updated. I would like to replace a few things as long as it is in the budget.
Update my attitude
My third goal might be the most important. I am going to work on my inner self. I will play with my inner child. I am going to create a new improved sense of self and inner peace. I am going to step outside my comfort zone and learn something new this year. Maybe by learning to speak a language, play an instrument or take an online class.
Happy New Year!
