Four Crime Reports Filed Between January 20 and January 25 by the Upper Allen Township Police
January 20, 2009
Upper Allen Police responded to a domestic assault call in the 1000 block of Lancaster Boulevard in Mechanicsburg, PA. Karac Einsig, 25, was arrested as a result of their investigation. Upon arriving at the scene, police reported injuries to a female victim's head and face. As a result of the police investigation, Einsig was arrested at the scene. Eisig was temporarily held at the Cumberland County Prison before an arraignment before District Judge Brewbaker. According to the Upper Allen Police, a preliminary hearing is to be scheduled before Senior District Judge Bria.

January 21, 2009
Upper Allen Police continue to investigate a case involving stolen vehicle wheels and tires. The theft occurred between the evening of January 20 and the morning of January 21. According to police, the theft took place in the parking lot of the Belle Terre Apartments in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Upper Allen Township Police Department has requested anyone with information regarding the crime to contact the police by calling 717-238-9676. Citizens may also contact the police via their Anonymous Tip Line at 717-591-3790.

January 22, 2009
Jordan David Hoch, 18, was arrested with charges of retail theft and possession of marijuana on Thursday, January 22, 2009. Hoch was arrested after Upper Allen Township police responded to a retail theft call from an area CVS. When police arrived at the scene, Hoch, who had been detained by store personnel for the attempted theft of pharmaceutical items, was arrested. When taken into police custody, it was discovered that he was also concealing marijuana. Hoch was temporarily held at the Cumberland County Prison before his processing and release. Upper Allen Township police say he will be summoned for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Bria at a later date.

January 25, 2009
Justin Smith was arrested with charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Sunday, January 25 after being stopped by police for a traffic violation. Police reported that while speaking to Smith, 20, the odor of marijuana was detected. An investigation by the police resulted in the discovery of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe. Police arrested Smith at the scene. Smith was transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing, and will be sent before District Judge Bria for a preliminary hearing at a later date.
