Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion

In my family, my brother was the one blessed with the full eyelashes (envy is not a good color on me) and whenever I took off my Lash Blast, I took off about half of my eyelashes with it. Urban Decay has saved me yet again with another one of their fantastic primers: Eyelash Primer Potion.

COLOR

The primer potion is completely white, so after you put it on, you need to really coat your lashes with your mascara. It is noticeable if you miss any- be careful!

FORMULA

This is obviously where this shines. I usually put one coat on each eye and let it dry for about thirty seconds before applying mascara. However, I can see it working as I wait for it to dry. This lengthens and strengthens your lashes right in front of your eyes. When you apply mascara, it helps with volume, too. It has traditional brush that gets the biggest lashes with ease, smaller ones with slightly more difficulty. But, this formula really does make you look like I am wearing false eyelashes (great for me because I am eyelash glue impaired). My one complaint about the formula is that seems a little dry- maybe that is why it works, but it just seems dry. Still completely useable, especially since it has a locking top.

FUNCTIONALITY

This is functional for those with little eyelashes, or those wanting to make a statement with their lashes. However, for those with normal eyelashes, this is not an everyday product. It is easy to apply, but you do have to wait for it to dry for best results. However, since I have practically no lashes, this gets used every day.

PACKGING

Like all other Urban Decay packaging, this is adorable. It is purple with the gray-silver flower patterns and is very sturdy in the hand. The brush sheds slightly, but the top is really great because you can feel it lock and hear it click, sealing the product.

PRICE

This retails where Urban Decay products are sold for $20 and is truly a small price to pay for how luscious and thick my lashes look after using it.

FINAL OPINIONS

For those of you with bad eyelash genes, so to speak, this is definitely something to try. Even if you don't go with the Urban Decay brand, there are some other great primers out there. I do feel that you should try this before buying because if it doesn't work for you, it is useless. However, it can be life changing if it does. Happy lashes!
