COLOR
Sin is a shimmery champagne color that provides a slightly sheer wash to the lid. It looks great by itself, but also is a great base for nudes or other shimmery colors. It tells the world, "I am naturally beautiful." When you wear Sin by itself, you can barely tell you have makeup on, but your eyes look highlighted and dazzling.
FORMULA
This is almost exactly the same formula as their original Eyeshadow Primer Potion, but obviously has color to it. This preps your lids for the day and makes eyeshadow color pop and last. When I use Sin, my eyeshadow will stay on past twelve hours, and even overnight when I forget to take off my makeup (bad habit, I know). I honestly cannot describe how great this product is. However, if you have oily eyelids (some people do), I would suggest trying Too Faced Shadow Insurance first. Only because this is a thinner formula and will crease a lot more on those with oilier eyelids.
FUNCTIONALITY
Since primer potions make color last and pop, they are extremely functional and easy to use. Also, since Sin has color to it, those of you more natural girls can put this on and nothing more, and look glamorous. It is very easy to blend into the skin and really stays.
PACKAGING
Since Urban Decay redesigned the wand and made it angled, application and getting the product out is much easier than it was before, I still wish they would re-package it, even though the packaging is so cute. I mean, a purple genie bottle? Come one.... How adorable is that? But, when it gets in the way of function, something has got to give.
PRICE
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin retails for $17 where Urban Decay products are sold.
FINAL OPINIONS
For those of you who like all over color or very little eye makeup, this is the way to go. It gives a subtle tint and highlight without being completely nude. This also acts as a great base for those who like intense color. I highly recommend Sin and will continue to buy to my heart's content.
