A secret code of urinal etiquette exists among men. It is an unspoken code that is common throughout the population. You probably think of the act of using a urinal as a thoughtless procedure. This is what I felt before I stumbled across the "Urinal Test".

The website was interesting to say the least. As a woman, the issue of urinal etiquette is a topic that doesn't often arise for me. Of course, due to my non existent experience with urinal usage, I didn't receive the best results after taking the "Urinal Test". My results stated that I must be a female or perhaps a male who just doesn't get out that much. I thought it was a funny statement but yet it was right on the money. I really don't have the slightest clue about urinal etiquette.

It seems sort of silly to think of a set of rules applying to men's bathroom usage. However, after reading some of the reasoning behind this secret urinal code among men, I could understand why they are in place. I think it would be hard to be a male and not conform to these bathroom codes due to the pressure behind them. It seems that by refusing to conform to the rules would result in some form of negativity. Peers could project discrimination, ridicule, or assumption towards the individual who doesn't conform.

Overall, I thought this website was fun to visit and offered a new perspective on the etiquette used while in the urinal world.
