US Army All American Bowl 2010: CJ Mosley Picks Alabama
The All American Bowl is an All-Star Game of High School Football Played on Saturday
Coming into the 2010 U.S. Army All American Bowl, C.J. Mosley had not officially announced where he would be going to school in 2010. There were a couple of choices on the table, and a lot of schools that bring this defensive star on to their teams. Of course Alabama turned into one of his biggest suitors, and having an outstanding player that also comes from the state of Alabama is like a match made in heaven for college football fans in the state. Some of the others schools who were interested in C.J. Mosley included Florida State, Auburn, Oklahoma and Arkansas among a wide list of colleges.
According to stats that Yahoo! Sports keeps on the biggest high school football recruits, C.J. Mosley looks pretty good. He plays outside linebacker, and can run the 40-yard dash in just 4.5 seconds. He is reported to bench press 315 pounds as his max, can do the shuttle in 4.3 seconds, and has a vertical leap of 36 inches. Yes, that's right; he has a three foot vertical leap from a standing position. Standing at 6'2" and 212 pounds, Mosley could stand to put on a few more pounds as he heads to college, but he could quickly turn into a huge force on the Alabama defense in the next couple of seasons. Ranked as the 6th best OLB coming into college, he also has room to grow, but did show some nice flashes during the 2010 U.S. Army All American Bowl on Saturday.
