Both parties, Republicans and Democrats continue to bicker over the thirty year old social security problem, health care crisis, or minimum wage issue, which have no significance to the government oath (to preserve and protect). Wasn't the U.S. government formed only to defend and protect its people, not to provide retirement, health care, or other social issues? Shouldn't these frauds be fired for violating their oaths? Last time I checked, if someone hired a person to do a service, the person must provide that service. Otherwise, it is breach of contract. Therefore, isn't Congress guilty of stealing time and money from the American tax payers? I thought the U.S. government's job was formed to defend and protect voters rights, not manipulate them with social programs.
The fact that our government places social issues before security disturbs me. Our government was to preserve and protect liberty. It wasn't created to meddle in social affairs. Since when did getting re-elected become more important than preventing the country from being neglected or dissected? One thing is for sure, Senators and Congressmen or women who pander to the public may ensure their re-election, but they don't represent preservation.

Post a CommentThe Founding founders were well aware of what happens in a democracy. The people demand more and more and those who seek offices promise more and more until the sytem fails. This country was supposed to be a republic not a democracy. It has become a democracy so it is moving in the direction that the Founding Fathers warned us about!
