All of the Republican candidates except for Ron Paul and in some ways Tom Tancredo are sell outs. It is ironic that the most conservative candidate (Ron Paul) is being attacked by the Republican Party Establishment. This shows that these scrupulous people (the neocons) have hijacked the Republican party. This largely happened through deception and the lack of political participation by real Americans.
Thankfully, things have changed. People are using the internet and taking advantage of the democratization of information. No longer are the masses subject to the whims of a lone newsroom editor sitting in a smoky room. Now people can hear all sides of the issue instead of succumbing to the propaganda of a few.
This is why a man of Character (Ron Paul) is doing so well, has more supporters than all the candidates combined and is the only Republican to have a very positive increase in funding this quarter. Old media will be dead in a few years, but for the time being they are trying to remain relevant and are starting to report on the success of Ron Paul. True conservatism in the sense of following the Constitution is taking hold again. We can only hope that America will throw out the fake conservatives (the neocons) before they start WW3.
