The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum can be found in the heart of rich mining-culture area of Ishpeming Michigan, and just a ten minute drive west of Marquette Michigan's historic downtown district. The building simply cannot be missed, for it appears to be a replicate that of a ski-jump.

The U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, and Museum was enacted in Ishpeming Michigan over five decades ago back in 1954. In the past 50 years, along with exposing America's skiing greats, it has acquired an exceptional assembly of skiing-stock collection of artifacts and archives, which conserves and recollects the distinguished skiing tradition and heritage of skiing in the United States from the past and the present. Its building's architecture as mentioned above, depicts both the Nordic and hilly traditions of skiing and contains well-over 15,000 square feet of displays and exhibits. Within its walls you can discover the story of the ancient Birkebeiners, or see Sun Valley Resort's first snow-hill groomer and even learn about the historic 10th Mountain Division and its contribution both in wartime and peacetime to the development of skiing.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame counts on member endowments to support its collection of artifacts and archives. You too can be a part of the effort to preserve and promote America's great ski heritage. Join the U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in its recognition of the excellence in skiing and snowboarding. You may even become a member with carte blanche benefits and be part of their other special events.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, and Museum is the only National hall of fame dedicated exclusively to the sport of skiing and snowboarding in here in America. It provides the ultimate and lasting deduction for those American skiers and Snoeboarders who have eclipsed the sport nationally, as well as Internationally as competitors or guarantors to the enrichment of skiing and snowboarding in all of its forms. The Honor Roll litany consists of 349 Honored members and reflects the expensiveness and asymmetry of American skiing from the early trail-blazing ski-jumpers to today's stars such as Johnny Mosely, Tommy Moe and America's skiing sweet-heart, Picabo Street

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum is unyielding in the conservation and review of America's skiing and snowboarding heritage through the perpetual exposure of nationally exceptional skiers, snowboarders and ski-sport builders from all over the United States.
