Use Estee Lauder Signature Silky Eyeshadow Duo and Forget Them

Susan Slade
I just love the free products Estee Lauder give you when you make a purchase over a certain dollar amount. Roughly 4 times a year I purchase my Estee perfume, and get 6 or 7 samples of makeup, creams, cleansers, and perfume.

One of these was the Estee Lauder Signature Silky Eyeshadow Duo. It comes in the navy blue compact, with the gold colored, and blue logo.

With the compact facing me, I just pull out the right side of the compact, and there are the 2 circles of eye shadow, and a single applicator.

I had a choice of two different color combinations, and I chose the 03, Ginger. I am not sure why it is called this color, because there is a dark brown, and a beige/pink.

In the morning after washing my face, and using a good moisturizer, I then put my makeup on.

With one side of the applicator I use the lightest color, and cover the whole of my eyelids. I then get the dark shade, turn the applicator to the other side, and apply it to the eyelid nearest to my lashes. I allow it to go up to the crease line.

Then I get my index finger, and smoothed the darker color so it gently blends with the lighter shade. This works great for me. I know other women like to just put the darker color in the crease of the eyelid.

I then use either my Estee Lauder mascara, or one of my good quality ones. I don't use any other makeup on my eyes.

Over the years I have used many of the Estee Lauder eyeshadows, and the Signature series always come up trumps. The eyeshadow stays, looks great, and doesn't fade, crease, or run.

I am out in 93 degree weather, with a heat index of over 100, and my eyeshadow looks as good at 4.00 p.m., as it does when first applied, before breakfast.

Estee Lauder makeup is a little more expensive that the average makeup you purchase in a drugstore, but it saves you money because of it's quality.

I get 4 free eyeshadows a year, so I don't have to purchase retail, but if I ever ran out, this would not be a problem for me. You get what you pay for.
