Review of Martha Stewart's Scoring Board
The scoring board came packaged with an envelope guide and bone folder. Both accessories have handy storage containers as part of the scoring board so that you do not lose them. The board itself is made of sturdy, cream-colored plastic with scoring grooves every 1/8 inch. The maximum scoring area is 12 3/8 by 12 3/8.
The scoring board came with a brief instructions sheet for making an envelope, card, and box. However, the scoring board is very easy and quick to use. On my first test, I found that I pressed a little too hard and had a small tear in my paper. This scoring tool requires very little pressure to make crisp lines.
I felt that the board really helped me get perfectly straight scoring lines in a short amount of time. No more fussing with lining up a ruler and hoping that it does not slip. If you do paper crafting or card making and want a way to easily score your paper, then I do recommend getting this handy tool.
I purchased my scoring board at a local craft store for $19.99.

Instructions for making a bumblebee party favor box
NOTE: See the scoring board instructions to create a 4x4 box with lid.
1. Assemble the bottom portion as described in the scoring board instructions and set aside.
2. Score the top portion but do not assemble it yet.
3. Decorate the cover with a bumblebee sticker or make your own. I cut my own bumblebee using a Cricut and the Give a Hoot cartridge. The bumblebee is 2 inches.
4. Cut a 1-1/4 inch cloud shape using scissors or a diecut machine.
5. Add some blue ink to the edges of the cloud to give it some definition.
6. Write the word "Thanks!" on the cloud.
7. Glue the bumblebee to the red checkered top, taking care to place it completely within the inner scored lines.
8. Glue the cloud to the top also making sure it is within the inner scored lines.
9. Draw small dashes from the bee to the cloud to accent the top.
10. Optional: Use scissors to cut the bottom box edges in a wavy pattern.
11. Assemble the box top.
12. Fill the box bottom with little party favors.
13. Place the bumblebee lid top onto the bottom.
