Use Your Mind (Poem)

Allana Calhoun
The mind is a wonderful thing
that is if you use it well
Otherwise it is nothing
and is as worthless as a tin bell

The mind can store much knowledge
if you allow it to
It helps you get into college
if that's what you want to do

Treat your mind respectfully
Learn as much as you can
Pay attention carefully
and broaden your knowledge span.

This was fun to read. Sometimes I think my mind is as worthless as a tin bell, but then i guess that would be thinking, lol.

A long time ago someone said, 'Dan, you've got a good mind, but are you using it?' He was right, of course. I still needed to grow up a lot. This is another fine piece of work!!

Like seeing your old work. The mind's like any organ. It needs exercise!

Great. My dad stressed this to us as we were growing up.
