Use the Remote at Newport for Thrills and Chills April 23rd

Not sure how this one was missed, but horror short Remote will play in Newport this week (April 23rd). The film utilizes isolation and the blending of time, or space to place character Matt at the scene of murder. The show has one showing only at 3:30pm, so if you are interested in the synopsis below head on down to Newport for the festivities, soon.

The synopsis for Remote here:

"On a cold February night, Matt loses his cable signal during a severe snowstorm. He's left with channel after channel of static, until he comes across a station that is the mirror image of his apartment, but 30 years in the past. He soon discovers that he can communicate with Justine, the young woman residing in the apartment on the television. As the two get to know each other, Matt discovers that Justine died on that very night 30 years ago. Can he change her fate?" (Newport).

Release: April 23, 2010 (Limited Run).

Cast: Julie McCarthy, Peter Racanelli, Ruth Barrett, Ron Basch, George Komorowski, Mark Sanders, Sarah Silverthorne, Don Tjart, and Chris Willis.
