Use SocialSpark to Make Money with Your Blog

SocialSpark Provides Bloggers with Paid Blogging Opportunities

Jacqueline Parks
It seems like everyone has a blog these days, and most people are interested in making money with their blogs. You can always make money by placing advertisements on your blog, but is there another way? You are probably familiar with PayPerPost, an advertising service that matches bloggers with paid opportunities that allow them to make money by writing about products and services they have tried. Although that seems like a good money making opportunity, there are some problems with PayPerPost. Google lowers the page rank of blogs with certain types of advertising links on them, and most of PayPerPosts opportunities led to lowered page ranks for the blogger. Many bloggers who found their page ranks falling jumped off the PayPerPost bandwagon.

Izea, the company that owns Payperpost, set out to start a new service that would be more search engine friendly. The result is SocialSpark. SocialSpark is far more than a place to find paid blogging opportunities though. It is also a wonderful social networking tool for all bloggers. At SocialSpark, you can set up a free homepage to advertise your blog. This is an excellent way to drive traffic your way. It is also a good way to network with other bloggers whether you want to pick their brains for ideas to monetize your blog, make friends with bloggers with similar interests, or just want to find interesting blogs to read yourself.

How do you make money with SocialSpark? Well, SocialSpark posts paid blogging opportunities, and if you are interested and your blog is eligible, you sign up! Then you write an appropriate entry, and if you follow the guidelines, you get paid. The opportunities are diverse. There is likely to be something to interest everyone. As traffic to your blog increases, so do your opportunities.

SocialSpark has an excellent code of ethics. They have a policy of 100% in-post disclosure. When you are participating in a paid opportunity, you tell your readers in the post. There is no need to be sneaky. All paid posts are clearly labeled as such. SocialSpark is also 100% transparent in what goes on in their community. It is public knowledge who works for them, and who is paying whom for what. Once again there is no sneakiness or dishonesty. SocialSpark never tells you what to write. It is always expected that your posts will be your honest opinion. Perhaps most importantly, SocialSpark, unlike PayPerPost, is 100% search engine friendly. Accepting their paid blogging opportunities will not negatively affect your search engine results. You can feel safe accepting paid opportunities for SocialSpark.

If you are looking for a way to gain some free advertising for your blog, an opportunity to network with other bloggers, or a place to find paid blogging opportunities for yourself, sign up for SocialSpark. It is the place for you.

I've been involved with SocialSpark for a little while now but still don't know how it works.

It seems great and I think I've got it figured out but nothing.

I'm sure I'm missing something [extremely] basic but until I know what it is, I remain grounded.

Is there a step-by-step tutorial available anywhere? What am I missing?
