Used Car Markets Fears the Nano Launch

The used car dealers are feeling the threat as the Tata Nano launch is nearing. As a precautionary measure or one can say it as a preliminary bail the nervous dealers have cut down the prices for used cars for more than 25-35%. This step is taken so that the prices of the used car become competitive with Nano.

The fear of pre-owned market crashing with the Nano has forced the dealers to give away the cars at a very unimaginable price. For instance, some of the dealers are offering Rs 1 lakh for the car models like Ford Ikon, Maruti Esteem, Opel Corsa or Fiat Sienna those are four to five year old.

Once the Nano is launched, used small cars will further see a revised price which will be much lower. The competition for Nano will grow much tougher. The normal thought people will carry is why to buy a small car worth one lakh which does offer AC when one can get a bigger car enhanced with more feature for almost same price. The thinking is pretty wise.

Tata Nano has created a curiosity among the people with its launch but on the other hand it has turning as a nightmare for the used car dealer!
