After cleaning the can well both inside and removing the paper from the outside, it's time to decorate. Now these are some examples of how to decorate the formula cans for children. Use the colored construction paper, cut to fit around the can, and then glue it to the outside. Then foam shapes can be added. It can be decorated for a girl or boy with these shapes. There are all kinds of sports including cheerleaders. Also there are smiley faces, hearts, stars, and containers with foam shaped animals that can be used. The stickers and rub-ons can be placed on the construction paper or the formula can itself. Using the border paper from a child's room for a child is a great idea. Just be sure to use extra glue for a better hold.
Now these are some of the uses for the baby formula can. When making for a girl, place hair bows, ties, candy, crayons, color pencils or make a bank with many more uses. When decorated for the boy, money, candy, small cars, cookies, cards, collected sea shells, colored pencils, small balls, and many others. Some other uses are safety pins, cotton balls, hairpins, and small pieces of soap, crafting tools, small rolls of thread, odd buttons, small pictures, cuff links, odds-n-ins, and many more.
This is another way to use the baby milk can. After the can is decorated, cut small holes in the lid to place tooth brushes in. Also a small tube of toothpaste and gloss could be put in the bottom. The décor could be pictures of these items glued or drawn on construction paper on the outside of the can.
Another great idea for the formula cans are to decorate them, then fill them with something to give as a gift. Fill it with cookies, candy, everyone like a treat now and then. Also it could be given as a baby shower gift. Decorate with the small pins, bottles and other baby items then fill with Q-tips or cotton balls. Also placing mini size baby oil, body wash, powder and lotion would be nice. These also can be a great money making idea and inexpensive to make.
