You can slice cucumbers and salt them if you like and eat or you can add some vinegar, onions and salt to a bowl, put your sliced cucumbers in the mix for a delicious treat. You can make home canned pickles recipes are easy to find online.
Another way to eat cucumbers that I love is to fry them. Slice the cucumber dip in milk and then cover each slice with flour. Put a skillet on the stove with about a inch of cooking oil salt if desired and fry until lightly crisp and brown. If you prefer a healthier way to prepare fried cucumbers than instead of putting them in a skillet get a cookie sheet spray with cooking spray and put in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, turn each slice and cook an additional 10 minutes.
Many people think cucumbers cannot be frozen but they can. You will only be able to use them for frying though. To prepare cucumbers for freezing you simply peel them then slice them and lay on a cookie sheet put in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Take the cucumbers off the cookie sheet and immediately put in freezer bags and put them back in the freezer. I have had cucumbers stored in my freezer for four months and they were still great for frying. The taste a fried cucumber is similar to the taste of a fried green tomato minus the tangy taste.
Besides eating I have found a couple other uses for cucumbers. (I am not talking about anything a child should not read.) Cucumbers are a cool variety fruit, the inside of a cucumber is up to 20 degrees colder than the outside. For this reason cucumbers are great for eye soreness and puffiness. Simply slice a fresh cucumber and lay a slice on each eye. You will the love feel, smell and the results.
Something many do not know is fresh sliced cucumbers is great for minor burns. These delicious and versatile fruits are also great for ache, sunburns, skin rashes and insect bites. To use cucumbers for these problems simply blend them in the blender and apply to the area.
So now you know many uses for your garden cucumbers eat and enjoy or take care of those skin problems.

Why do you have to be so rude! We're not all English Majors. The article was just passing on information.
Do you even speak English? The grammar in this article makes me want to cry.
Your little buried joke cracked me up and I liked the article. Did you ever check out the Thai way of making a cucumber salad? It's pretty good, a little hot, and uses cilantro. We got the recipe from a restaurant we go to and like it a lot. Check it out, maybe.
I would rather just eat cucumbers.
