Using the New AC Facebook Portal

Excellent Addition to Associated Content

Rose Richmond
When I got the email as everyone else did, telling us of the new AC Facebook Portal option for Content Producers, I was very curious. I have a Facebook page, but because I did not have it set up when I first started writing for AC, all of my articles were not posted there.

This new AC Facebook Portal is easy to set up. Just click on the email you got or you can follow this link that has been set up by our fantastic AC Staff to make it very simple. http://apps.facebook.com/ac_portal. I will put the link in again at the bottom.

If you do not have a Facebook Page then you should consider getting one. In order to advertise your articles, videos, music and photos, Facebook is one of the best Internet sites out there to do it for free. Once your page is set up, you can come back to AC and follow the link. You log in with your AC user and password.

The AC Facebook Portal allows you to place info from your AC page into your Facebook page. All of your articles are there and with just a click you can update daily or however often you publish new stuff. Instead of inserting each article separately, you are totally finished in a few minutes. Great program AC has set up.

As soon as I completed the initial downloading of my content, I took the time to create a widget as well. You can place about 5 articles in the widget. This is a quick advertisement of any of your published content. It will link back to AC and allow readers to find your original pages at AC.

All of the links come back to AC to allow view credits, but with all of your content showing on Facebook, you have more opportunity to attract a larger audience.

I actually completely set up my Facebook page because of this new AC Facebook Portal. I added all of the features that I wanted and sent out invitations to others to help them find me on Facebook now.

This is a wonderful feature AC has added for the Content Producers. Simple and creates a tremendous advantage for all of us. Everyone should give this a try.

You can get information on Getting Started through the link below.

I am not sure who of our brilliant team of executives and editors and admin personnel came up with this great idea of helping to link AC to Facebook, but I think it was a fantastic idea. Their dedication to continue to build a great online site for both the readers and for content producers is obvious in this latest move to improve.

Check out the new AC Facebook Portal and get exposed.
