If you are looking for a way to better your relationship that does not include spending vast amounts of money or having to put in hours of time and effort, then you should look to aromatherapy. There are plenty of different essential oils to use to bring a sense of romance to your relationship, and there are also hundreds of ways in which you can use them. Using aromatherapy for reomance is much easier than you may have first thought.
First of all, you need to work out which essential oils you want to buy in order to make your night romantic. There are plenty of choices from which you can make your decisions, but among the most popular are - rose oil, patchouli, sandalwood, neroli, ylang ylang and jasmine. All of these are available in the forms of essential oils and can be bought in most shops and also over the internet to be used in aromatherapy for romance.
If you are planning a romantic meal then why not add scented candles to the table or room. You can get scented candles that are fragranced with the various essential oils as mentioned above, but if you cannot find them, there is a way around this. Get a normal candle and burn it for a few minutes. When the first layer of wax has melted, blow the candle out and add a couple of drops of the essential oil of your choice to the liquid wax. Be aware that some essential oils be flammable so always check this beforehand, but this is a cheap and easy way to quickly fragrance a room and using aromatherapy to better your relationship.
If you have an oil burner, you can add a few drops of the essential oils used to enhance romance to the occasion to a little warm water and set a lit tea light candle at the bottom. As the oil is heated in the top of the oil burner, the fragrance will be dispelled into the air and the room will smell delicious and this is the easiest way to learn about using aromatherapy to better your relationship.
Once the meal is over, why not consider running a romantic bath for the two of you? You can add your favorite essential oils to the bathwater as it is running and not only will the oils make the room smell lovely, but the aromatherapy properties of the oils will work their magic making for a lovely romantic evening. If you add rose oil to the bath, you could enhance the effects more by sprinkling a few rose petals in to the bath as well.
There are plenty of ways in which you can use aromatherapy and essential oils to better your relationship and the trick is to be as imaginative as possible. Once you have mastered this, you can then go on to include aromatherapy into other areas in to your life.
