Using an AT&T Track Phone for Your AT&T Plan
This is a pretty well keep secret from customers of the Cingular/AT&T service provider. If you break your phone don't waste money on a new phone for $250 go to Wal-Mart or any other retailer that sells track phones for AT&T and purchase one that you like.
After you have bought the phone remove the cover for the battery and insert your AT&T/Cingular SIMS CARD from you old phone into the spot that is shaped like the card. after you have charged the phone turn it on and your card should work and you can make calls just like a normal AT&T/Cingular phone without changing your plan or using the track phone chip that comes with the track phone.
NOTE: Not all retailers sell the same phone so look around a bit before you purchase one. They often sell for under $150 so don't be surprised if they have the same phones AT&T/Cingular stores sell for a lot less.

Post a CommentThis doesn't work any more. But the good news is that you can get an actual TracFone for as little as $10 and pay $20 every 3 months to use it. That's crazy cheep! Ha!
I have a AT&T go phone and the sims card don't work I put the sims card in my other phone and it didn't work and I can't take the phone back because I've had it have 30 days
No Really son your on the right track but there are not called track phones the track phone is a completely different company and will not work with the at&t version but it will work with the at&t GO phone. price ranges are from the generic model of $15.00 and i have seen the Razer for about $99.00 at wall mart. enjoy everyone and if there is a way to get over my son will tell you...lol
