Using a Chinese Calendar to Determine Gender

The Chinese are known for having some bazaar beliefs, rituals and customs, at least when looked at by the not so interesting Western world and compared to its customs. One such custom is their usage of a calendar to determine which gender a baby will be. When using the calendar, the factors to be considered are the month the mother became pregnant as well as how old the was.

Now of course this day in age one does not have to wait long after conception to find out if the baby is going to be a boy or girl. One such technology that provides for this is scanning. This can be covered with insurance but also isn't very costly if paid for, regardless, it still has to paid for, Throughout the years, there have been countless theories behind determining if the new born will be a boy or girl. Determining age this way can be done by adding one year to your current age if born between Feb. 21 and Dec. 31. If not born with in that time span, your age is the same. Next, the actual month of conception has to be known.

Being used much like a times table chart in math, the pregnancy chart consists of the Lunar age of the pregnant mother is at the top. After finding the correct month, follow the chart down until you match it up with the month of conception which is found at the left of the. The spot at which they meet with be colored either blue or pink. Blue mean the child will be a boy. Pink means the child will be a girl.

This completely free and natural way of determining gender remarkably reliable. It has an accuracy rate of roughly 90%.
