Using Free Blogs to Increase Your Website Traffic

Jason Raphael
If you're interested in increasing the amount of website traffic you have, consider using free blogs on the Internet. There are many companies that give free blogs including Yahoo, Tripod, Word Press and Blogger. I will explain the process of creating free blogs and using them to increase your website traffic.

Creating blogs on these free services is a great thing to do. These services have so many blogs that the search engines are constantly scanning them for new entries. I suggest starting a blog on each of these services. You should name your blogs according to the topic of your website. For example, if your website is about sports cars then I would name the blog sports-cars.wordpress.com. I would use the same naming convention on all of the blog services listed in the first paragraph of this article. After creating the blogs, the next step would be to write content. There are many places to find free content on the Internet. However the best method is to write your own articles. These articles should be between 300 and 500 words each. At the end of each article, you should place a link back to your original website. Using this simple technique you can easily get many back links to your website and a lot of free traffic.

When making these blogs, it is important to make sure that the name of the blog and the content relates to your website. This will ensure that the search engines will increase the ranking of your website. In addition, Internet users like high quality content. The higher the quality of your content, the more people will click the links to your main website.

You can also link all of these blogs together which will create a network of similar sites. This will also help your site to rank higher on the search engines because this technique is called three-way linking.
