Using Horizontal Lines in Trellian WebPage

In this tutorial, I will show you how to use your Horizontal Line in Trellian WebPage. A horizontal line is often used to separate stuff within a page. Sometimes, people use fancy lines to separate stuff on webpages and then sometimes, people just use the basic horizontal rule in their web design program. This tutorial will show you how to change the size of the line, the color of the line, and more. The horizontal lines are very easy to use and create. Open your Trellian WebPage program and we will get started.

When your program opens, create a new HTML document to work on. You can click File > New and that will create a new document. Once you have created a new document, you can insert your horizontal line. Go to the top of your program and click Insert > Horizontal Rule. That will insert the horizontal rule into your document. Now we will edit the horizontal rule.

Resizing the Horizontal Rule

First, I will show you how to resize the horizontal rule. Click on the line to select it. Then right click on the line and click Properties. When the box opens, you will see the width and height field. Enter your measurements in this field and click the Apply button. The horizontal line will change to the size you selected. If you need to make adjustments, you can do so before clicking OK on the box. Once you have the line the way you want it, click the OK button to close it.

Changing the Color of the Horizontal Rule

Next, I will show you how to change the color of the Horizontal Rule. Right click on the line again. In the box that opens, you will see the color box. At the end of the color box, you will see a button. Click that button and select the color of your choice. Then click the Apply button and the OK button to close it.

How to Align the Horizontal Rule

You can align the horizontal rule to the left, right, or center. To align the rule, right click on the horizontal rule. When the box opens, drop the Align box down and select the alignment of your choice. Click Apply and then OK to close the box.

Applying the Shading Effect to the Horizontal Rule

You can also apply a shading to the Horizontal Rule. The shading will give it a drop shadow effect. To apply a shading, right click on the horizontal rule. When the box opens, tick the Shading field. Then click Apply and OK.
