The law of attraction is flexible enough to be used in different ways, but many people prefer to use it to attract money. Here are three exercises utilizing the law of attraction.
#1: Write a Poem
When you want to make a deal, it's always best to get it in writing. This works when making a deal with the universe as well. Traditionally, magical spells were created in rhymed couplets (two lines) or quatrains (four lines). This makes them a lot easier to remember. You will want to keep this poem of your monetary goals in an area you see every day, such as a bathroom mirror or above the bed.
Make sure the poem is in the past tense, as if you have already received the desired wealth. This helps your subconscious accept that you will get the money you need. Say or think the poem every time you look at it and believe it will happen.
If you particularly enjoy creating things, then you can combine this exercise with the one below.
#2: Make a Collage
This not only helps attract wealth into your life, but also recycles old magazines and newspapers. First, make a short list of what you would do with the money or why you need it. You can always go back and change this list. For example, let's say you want to not only pay your bills, but give to charities you're passionate about.
Next, get a few old magazines and newspapers and a pair of scissors. Cut out pictures you think would represent the charities that would benefit from your money as well as people able to eat, live in homes and get health care. Then you paste them onto a blank sheet of paper or cardboard. It's best to make it small because you will be mostly likely to finish it. An unfinished collage sends out the subliminal message that attracting wealth is always a work in progress and never quite achieved.
Keep it in your check book or wallet. Whenever you need to take it out, you see the collage and it helps remind you of your life goals.
#3: Share the Wealth
As the old saying goes, "What goes around, comes around." Ancient Native American tribes used potlatches where they gave away possessions in order to gain prestige in the tribe. The beauty of the tribal potlatch was that what you gave away may eventually be given back to you. Try to always give a part of your money to charities and it will come back to you when you need it the most, whether you get a tax write-off or not. In giving, you will also learn that money isn't everything you need to have true wealth.
