Using Niche Blogs to Promote Your Website and Offset Article Marketing Costs

Article marketing has become one of the most common ways for people to promote their websites. People hire freelance writers to produce article after article and then they submit them to various article submission services to get them published on the internet. If done properly, you can create a wealth of backlinks to your website in a very short period of time. Doing so increases your Google rank and before you know it, you are on the prized first page.

Now while the articles themselves are not expensive, the cumulative affect can add up. If you have a site that is not producing money right away, this can put a huge dent in your operating cash. There is a way to offset the spending and to create even more links. The solution is to create niche blogs that will possibly earn you affiliate income and create even more links to your site.

Niche blogs are blogs that are created that specialize in whatever niche your main website is focused on. For instance, you may have a site that sells natural diet aids. While you are waiting to get indexed, it is unlikely that you are going to get much traffic on the web. To counter this, you create a niche blog that is focused on not only diet aids, but also diet tips. Using a site like WordPress will get you indexed on Google much quicker as you can make use of the pings that are naturally built into the programming.

On your niche blog, you will have not only links to your site as a recommended dietary aids supplier, but you can also have links to sites that feature books on the topic and other items that people interested in this might find useful. This is where you can make your money.

Do some research on sites in your niche that have an affiliate program. Subscribe to their programs and when you create links with your affiliate information and they are used by your readers, you will get a commission on the sale that is created. The more popular your blog becomes, the more money you can make.

If you are selling a product that lends itself to various outlets, you may consider having multiple niche blogs going at the same time. More sites means more exposure for you and of course, more links and more money. Believe it or not, there are people that have started niche blogs for this reason and are now making more money off of their commissions than they do off of their sites. There is little doubt that they are very effective marketing tools and a great source of secondary income.
