Using Water to Speed Up Your Metabolism and Lose Weight
Water Can Be Used to Induce Weight Loss

We all need water to survive, but many people do not know that water has many other uses besides keeping us alive and clean. Experts suggest that we drink a minimum of eight (8oz) glasses of water per day, but is a hard task to accomplish for some people. The thought of downing eight cups of water can be overwhelming, making it seem like an impossible task.

If you are looking for an all natural alternative to Hollywood fad diets, then let me introduce you H2O, commonly known as water. Water is the most widely available of all resources, and can be used as an inexpensive means of reprogramming your body to burn calories faster.

Before you begin tampering with your bodily functions, you should always consult a licensed physician to make sure that you will not cause any harm to yourself. After you get the thumbs up, you should pick an interval ranging from 15-30 minutes in length. After you have selected your interval, you are going to need to keep track of time. Lets use the twenty-minute mark as the selected time.

Every twenty-minutes, you will need to drink a minimum of 4oz of water, whether you are thirsty or not. Water acts as a natural metabolism booster, body cleanser, and appetite suppressant. By drinking every twenty-minutes, you are accomplishing four things.

  1. You are flushing your system of harmful toxins.
  2. You are suppressing your hunger urges.
  3. You are drinking your recommended eight glasses per day.
  4. You are speeding up your metabolism, which helps burn fat faster, in turn giving you more energy.

Flushing your system is a great way to make yourself feel better in general. Your body will begin to feel rejuvenated as you continue this exercise. The longer you stick with it, the easier it will get. Something as simple as drinking water can make you feel so much healthier.

When your body gets hungry, it needs to be fed. If you do not feed your body, it starts feeding on muscle first, and on fat last. Fat provides significantly more energy than muscle, so your body saves the fat in case of emergency. Not eating will cause your body to go into starvation mode, in order to preserve itself. Water can suppress your appetite, causing your body to burn more calories. Water plays a sort of trick on your body, giving you that full feeling, even if you haven't eaten.

Drinking eight glasses of water per day is very important to your overall health. If you drink a minimum of 4oz every twenty-minutes, you will have met your eight glass requirement in just five hours and twenty-minutes. The task seems surmountable if you spread it out over the course of time.

Finally, water speeds up our metabolism through hunger suppression. Because our body is not hungry, it is willing to release more vitamins and nutrients, and also burn the precious fat that it tends to hold on to. If your body is expecting a steady supply of food, then it naturally burns as much as possible in order to make room for more. When your body starts to burn fat, you lose weight.

Additionally, if you feel that you need to eat, try eating 3-5 unsalted pretzels from the bag. This method can be used in conjunction with water to help speed up your metabolism. Once you have successfully reprogrammed your body, make sure you stick with it. It is very easy to become distracted from your overall goal. If you can keep your focus, will, and determination, then you will be on your way to a much healthier lifestyle.
