Taste: You can definitely taste the honey in each pretzel stick. From the first bite to the last bite. They have a little salt flavor to them as well. Each pretzel stick is extremely crunchy and don't fall apart when you take a bite. My two year old son also enjoys eating these pretzels. I was surprised that he was able to bite into them. They are pretty hard but I think he softens them up first by leaving them in his mouth first and then biting into them. He keeps asking me for "more." My neighbor came over the other day and she tasted them for the first time. She said they were the best Honey Wheat pretzels she ever tried too. She said they had a buttery flavor to them. They can be a little salty that is why you should always have a drink with you when you are eating them. Your mouth can get a little dry if you eat too many at once.
Appearance: They are about two inches in length and about an inch around. They have a brown coloring to them with the white salt on the outside. Each stick has a braided pattern that holds the flavor in them.
Packaging: I buy the UTZ Honey Wheat Braided Pretzels in a big tub. The tub is 28 ounces in size. It has a screw on top for easy open and close and keeps the pretzels nice and fresh. This tub is better than a bag because once you rip open a bag of pretzels they seem get stale so quickly, even if you close the bag tightly. You don't have to worry about your pretzels getting stale when you buy the tub of pretzels. Another benefit of purchasing the 28 ounce tub is that it is full with pretzels. When you buy the bag, you are usually buying some pretzels and some air. The tub is the best value for your money. As soon as you open the tub and pop open the fresh seal the pretzels are at the top of the container filled all the way to the bottom. It drives me nuts when you buy a bag of chips and you realize when you open them only half the bag is filled.
Cost: I buy the 28 ounce size tub for about $5.00 whether it is from the supermarket or Target. Neither store sells them for cheaper. I haven't noticed them on sale yet but when I do, I will buy two tubs of them since I finish the tub so quickly.
