Walton S. Tissot
Into every morning sunshine early rise
The residual starlit twinkle dreamy prize,
Left to lightly linger along the day to unfold
Forward toward what future pleasure lies

Of every trail traveled and all tales told
Intrinsic appetite to seek, to behold;
The many wondered variants and ways
Naturally aligned or then otherwise sold

In this thought: a memory, our reason stays,
Though oft' as not all true reason strays
As by design, - a given it would then seem
Ever driven shortest night and the longest days

In season ardor and fever; hunger to gleam
Lo the natural teeming for man to redeem
What when lost, that starlit twinkle the soul cries
For spark of youth, summer, and dream
