Vacation Bible School is a great way for your children to cure their boredom summer blues. You don't have to be a church member to attend a VBS either. Churches welcome newcomers and you never know, you may find your new church this way. This article will detail five of the top Vacation bible schools to go to in Dallas during 2010.

VacationBibleSchool's in DallasTexas in 2010 #1: ParkCitiesBaptistChurch

Park Cities Baptist Church is having their VBS on June 7th through June 11th. The theme is "Tejas Trail Adventures." Children will learn about the bible, make crafts, play games and enjoy a snack. Vacation Bible School is for kids who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall up to kids who have recently finished sixth grade. VBS starts at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM. VacationBibleSchool's in DallasTexas in 2010 #2: St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church

Your child can have fun on a "High Seas Expedition" at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The theme will teach children about God, new songs, crafts and more. Kids PR-3 through 3rd grade may attend however if your child is a PR-3 child they must have a parent volunteer to attend. If you want to volunteer and have younger children that can't go to VBS, the nursery will be open and your child can go for free IF you're a volunteer.

St. John's Episcopal Church is located at 848 Harter Road, Dallas, Texas, 75218. Their theme is also "High Seas Expedition" but churches do things differently so don't hesitate to take your child to more then one VBS that has the same theme. It's a great learning experience for kids to see how different churches work. St. John's Vacation Bible School starts on July 19th and ends July 23rd from 9 AM to 12 PM. Admission is free. Kids will learn about teamwork, new bible songs, crafts, treats, etc. Kids four through twelve are invited to attend. You can print out the registration form here and mail or take it into the church. VacationBibleSchool's in DallasTexas in 2010 #4: Park Cities Presbyterian Church

"Sonshine Carwash" is the theme at Park Cities Presbyterian Church. VBS starts on June 14th and ends the 17th and will go from 9 AM to 12 PM. There is no fee for your child to attend. On the last day of VBS, there will be fun for the whole family (pizza, bounce houses, games and more). VBS is sure to be a blast this year at First Baptist Dallas. Their theme is "Studio Game Show." VBS starts July 12th through the 16th. It starts at 9 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. Kids who are entering Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to attend. It is free for kids but if you'd like a Vacation Bible School t-shirt, there is a small $10 dollar fee.
